Golden Rule vs Platinum Rule? How about Diamond Rule?

There are merits and flaws with most things in the world. I was raised with a golden rule mindset and learned very quickly as a leader that everybody was different. What worked with me, may not work with you. Thus, my attraction to the platinum rule. Then I became a dad and saw the loop hole in platinum rule. After all, I can’t allow my 5-year-old have ice cream for every breakfast. This led me to my diamond rule. When it comes to trying to get the best out of your people, understand that it may challenge yours and their comfort zone.
